The You and Me Series at Seattle Art Museum

Three Thursdays – five hours at a time – movement artists Bianca Cabrera, Ricki Mason, Michael Rioux, Kelly Sullivan and Aaron Swartzman were installed amongst the permanent collection in the Seattle Art Museum galleries, framing live performance in the context of a museum. Niehoff’s interest lies in our expectations of live visual art and how intimate the connection between watcher and doer can be when placed in the world of objects.
The cast worked in the Double Height Gallery, The Lawrence Gallery, The African Gallery, The Enlightenment Gallery and The Porcelain Room.
