Viewfinder
Premiere: March 2013, Seattle
Housed in the gorgeous Suyama Peterson Deguchi gallery space in downtown Seattle, VIEWFINDER was a five-day performance installation – audience members could come and go as they wish. Niehoff and her dancers collaborated with photographer Hayley Young to create an immersive environment of sound and movement in which anyone in the audience could use a myriad of cameras to capture images at any time. These few photos represent 100s taken over the duration of the event.
