KT Holding a Dancer Audition on April 5, 2018
KT is holding an audition! She is currently seeking three dancers for a performance on Saturday, June 9th, as a part of the Seattle International Dance Festival.
Audition Date: Thursday, April 5th
Audition Time: Either 1-3pm OR 6-8pm
*Dancers do NOT need to come to both times – just one*
Audition Location: Velocity Dance Center – Founders Studio – 1621 12th Avenue, Seattle, 98122
Seeking:
Three dancers – professional ethics, quick study, movement generators, and positive studio energy. Strong Port de Bras technique and hypermobile shoulders a plus. Hover board and/or roller skating experience also a plus.
Rehearsal Schedule:
Rehearsals will be held between mid-April and first week of June – exact schedule to be settled with the chosen cast. Expect weekly daytime rehearsals.
This is a paid position for both rehearsals and performance.
Project description:
With her signature magical realism style, KT Niehoff is creating a non-linear narrative about having faith that one small life matters in the overwhelming sea of humanity. Mystical, hovering dancers, a minimalist composition for three pianos played live and an extraordinary hand balancer named Jill will tell the tale.
