KT asked the following West Coast artists to show original works:

BIANCA CABRERA returns to Seattle with her most recent California premiere, “Charge”, which thrusts formality and rebellion at one another while rubbing simplicity all over complexity.

JODY KUEHNER (AKA CHERDONNA SHINATRA) performs Snap Happy, an investigation of investigating.

EMILY SFERRA presents physical work inspired by the quote: “I want to unfold. I don’t want to stay folded anywhere, because where I am folded, there I am a lie. ” – Rainer Maria Rilke

MAYA SOTO presents GO Stop Falling an athletic rhythmically driven contemporary dance with a cast of powerful dancers reflecting the interior landscape of the modern super woman.

ALIA SWERSKY performs Beauty, a solo exploration addressing her relationship to beauty as a dancer, as a mother, and as a woman approaching 40.

MARKEITH WILEY performs, Self-Titled Mixed Tape vol. 4 a fiction/non fiction dance theater work that explores his past, present and future as a functioning member of society.
